Pollution

It is actually shameful to look at the progress. We have done so far our environment. Humans indeed are diplomatic creatures who could exactly know how to may way trough by manipulating stuff here and there. Have they actually given a thought of what will happen to the coming generation?
Some would lanely think that pollution is the part of environment just as every coin has two sides. You have to accept and live with it. Even if some people are triggered with the thought of pollution, the step further they will go is Kareye to bhi shu kareye? Have we been captivated by our busy schedule and own concern that have completely forgotten our ethics, morals and responsibility? It is very easy to get away by blaming others. But aren’t we ‘one of the other’?

Analyzing what we normally do for our environment.
Children: we are taught in school to respect the environment and be aware of pollution. Instead, what are we doing? Just mugging chapters in order to clear our exam. Do we really comprehend the importance of those chapters in real life? We love celebrating Diwali, holi, etc. we all know how much harm it causes, still it’s a routine now. To know, and still not care about it’s criminal. How many of us even bother to find a dustbin to through the litter?
Parents: Almost NIL. Neglect the fact that they send their children to school where they study about the environment. That’s it? Don’t they have the basic responsibility to actually cultivate the seed of ethics and morals in these children?
Industrialists: they believe in advertising more of what they actually are beginning to think off.

Every year to spread awareness, we celebrate ‘Green Day’ etc. But what’s next? Take an initiative to plant a tree hardly thinking about how to actually grow it. Again in today’s world, what main moto while planting trees? To make OUR house looks beautiful. It’s always ‘my house’, ‘my society’, but why not expand that selfish,’my’, or an ‘our’ wider perspective?
I think the mentality is that it’s already dirty. One small thing of ours will not do much harm to the nature. Nobody cares whether they pollute the river, streets, air etc. But once they see a neat and clean place they will think twice before polluting it. Why is it so? If everybody aspires to live in a pollution free place, then should we care it ‘polluting action’, laziness, lack of motivation, to actually stand up and to go to the environment. Have we ever in our life stopped someone doing something unethical to the environment? Well it starts from small thing like asking someone to get his machine checked as it’s omitting a lot of smoke or for that matter even asking one to through his litter in the dustbin.
There are some schools that treat these issues more than just a content of syllabus. These schools inspire students not only awake an initiate to spread awareness. but also provide a platform. Where children can productively work on has to reduce pollution.
